Hometown Title Opened its doors at 2605 W Lake Houston Parkway in a small lease space in Kingwood, TX.

Dec 2019Huntsville Location Acquired

Hometown Title bought our Huntsville Office location.

Jan 2020Hometown Title Huntsville Opened for Business

Hometown Title opened its Huntsville location at 1515 13th St., Huntsville, TX 77340.

March 2020New Building Acquired in Kingwood

Hometown Title outgrew its original Kingwood lease space and bought a building at 1750 W Lake Houston Parkway, Kingwood, TX 77339.

July 2020Hometown Title Kingwood New Office Opened for Business

After a complete renovation, Hometown Title opened its new Kingwood office, 1750 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood, TX 77339.

February 2023Merged with Fortis Title

Hometown Title proudly merged operations with Fortis Title LLC.

April 2025Hometown Title Dayton Opened for Business

Hometown Title opened its Dayton location at 605 W Clayton St, Dayton, TX 77535.

JACOB L. RICHARDSON

Vice President

Jacob is a co-founder of Hometown Title. He now serves as Vice President of Fortis Title.

Jacob is focused on business development efforts of all Fortis Title locations. He is dedicated to ensuring that all customers are provided with the best closing experience possible. Combined with an acute ability to develop and foster key business relationships, Jacob is able to create extraordinary value for clients and customers.

Jacob received his Bachelor of Business Administration from East Texas Baptist University, M.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University, and his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston.
